Our extensive produce selection includes tropical fruits including bananas, avocados, pineapples, mangos, and other fruits such as blueberries, strawberries and pears. We also carry cold vegetables including lettuce, warm vegetables such as peppers, onions, potatoes, tomatoes etc., and a large selection of herbs and spices for a diversity of ethnic cuisines including Latin, Asian, Italian, Mexican as well as other specialty products.
We are dedicated to providing quality above all and our responsibility begins with the inspection of the products we receive, to the handling, storage, packaging and delivery. All of our products are carefully maintained in a controlled environment to ensure that we preserve their freshness as well as the flavors that our customers are expecting to receive.
Fruits
Over the years we have developed close relations with premium growers and suppliers locally and internationally to provide our customers with the freshest and most diverse fruit options. From raspberries, watermelons, to oranges, pineapples, mangos, avocados, strawberries, dates, apples, pears and bananas, our selections are fresh, top quality products that our customers love.
Our dedicated staff measures our process from beginning to end to ensure that all of our produce remains fresh from our facility to our customer’s destination. From arrival, our selections are treated with care, maintained in temperature and environmentally controlled areas, transported in refrigerated trucks and personally delivered in our company’s fleet as requested or needed from our loyal customers.

We have worked very hard to develop an extensive vegetable selection that includes lettuce, tomatoes, garlic, mushrooms, carrots, celery, cauliflower, corn, beans, ginger, kale, green peas, asparagus, arugula, brussels sprouts, beets, chili, red peppers, shallot, cucumbers, potatoes, onions and much more.

Grains
In addition to our large selection of fruits and vegetables, Darien Produce Import also distributes a large variety of grains including beans, rice, flour, wheat and corn among others.
Within our bean options we have French bean, fava beans, pinto, black, and small red; our rice selection includes long grain - white and brown, short grain - white and brown, Basmati and Jasmine. We can also supply a variety of corn including sweet, wheat and flour in both small and large quantities depending on our customer’s specific needs.

Herbs & Spices
Our large selection of herbs and spices makes Darien Produce the premier option for customers searching diverse ethnic products. From Mexican, to Asian, Italian, French, Latin to specialty cuisines, we can provide our customers with a wide array of options depending on their particular needs.
Our herbs and spices include parsley, basil, caraway, rosemary, thyme, cilantro, chives, and fennel to list a few. Our spices include salt, pepper, cinnamon, cumin, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, saffron, paprika, and other options upon our customer’s requests.

Juices
In addition to the best fruits and vegetables, our company also distributes a wide array of natural, organic and freshly squeezed juices from tropical, exotic and seasonal fruits, including apples, lemons, grapefruits, limes, cranberries and a diversity of oranges such as amber sweet, red navel, and Valencia among others.
As a result of using 100% natural products, zero preservatives, no additives, no fillers, no pasteurization and the best hand sorted fruits only, our juice selection has become famous nationwide and best known for their unrivaled quality and flavors.
Within the available flavors we carry apple, lemon, cranberry, grapefruit, lime and orange. They are conveniently packaged in plastic bottles ranging from 16oz., 32oz., 64oz., to 128oz., and they are OU Kosher certified.

As a result of our great alliances and relationships with quality product suppliers, we are able to offer our customers a variety of fresh items at great values and for same day delivery locally if orders are placed early morning.
We understand that our customer’s needs’ are constantly changing and that they depend on us to make their businesses successful. Some of their varying needs consist of product assortment, which in some cases require selections other than fruits and vegetables.
In response to these needs and in an effort to be a one-stop solution for our customers, Darien Produce Import offers dairy items such as heavy cream, sour cream, eggs, butter, buttermilk, milk, cheese and frozen items. Our large facility equipped with cold rooms, and our fleet of refrigerated trucks, enable us to handle, store and transport these products in the safest and best possible manner in order to control their quality and to ensure they arrive fresh to our customer’s premises’.
